TOP PROGRAMS:
Eldercare Services Institute LLC. The institute strives to help older adults in Cuyahoga County remain in their homes by providing services to them, caregivers or significant others, and individuals concerned about issues of aging or how to plan for their elder years.

Medicare/Medicaid Certified Home Care. Provides health and rehabilitative services to older adults in their own homes.

In-Home Mental Health Services. Provides assessments, counseling and support for older adults living with mental or emotional problems such as depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders.

Adult Day Program and Partial Hospitalization Program. Provides adult day services for older adults with cognitive and functional impairments and therapeutic group sessions for those with mental illnesses. Adult Day Services consist of structured, comprehensive and supervised activities in a protective setting.

Social Work Services. Assessments, counseling and support provided by professional licensed social workers for older adults and their families.

Senior Companions. Older adult volunteers provide companionship and assistance to other older adults who are often lonely and isolated. In addition to companionship, they can provide assistance with shopping, household management and meal preparation.

The Margaret Wagner Apartments. The housing provides affordable senior units in a safe community for those 62 and older.

Margaret Blenkner Research Institute. One of the first centers in the nation established by a service organization for research in applied gerontology, the research conducted at the institute is used to improve services for older people and their caregivers.

Katz Policy Institute. Aims to advance aging services, policy development and advocacy efforts on behalf of older adults and their care providers.
